Through programs such as School Unit Cost Analysis, District Education Finance Analysis, support to develop districts’ strategic plan on education, and District Planning Information Support System, DBE1 has been encouraging districts such as Jepara, Central Java, to produce education sector plans and policies that are based on valid, relevant, and up-to-date data as well as improved participation from related stakeholders and community members.

The article above is from Jepara newspaper and talks about the effort of Jepara District Government to develop District Regulation on Education to improve budget planning and services for education sector, in particular to respond to the call for district to provide free education. In this process, DBE1 assisted the district to calculate the index of yearly cost for education participants.
